Today I am glad to announce on my blog that I came in second place in the iPlay America Science Fair. For second place I received a prize of $500.00 and a gift card of $250.00 for iPlay America. Like I did with my first science fair win I donated the $500.00 to Uncle Sonny’s.
My Science fair project was an Artificial Intelligence Gumball Sorter. I developed the project to determine if increasing the number of hidden nodes in a neural network increased the intelligence of the neural network. The results initially showed that increasing the number of hidden nodes in a neural network does increase its accuracy and intelligence. Then there reaches a certain point where increasing the hidden nodes no longer increases intelligence but actually has a defeating effect.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank iPlay America and their sponsor Amboy Bank for holding the Science Fair. I now have two gift cards for iPlay America one for $500.00 and another for $250.00. My hope is to one day soon have a sit down dinner at iPlay America in order to generate money for Uncle Sonny’s.
